Round one was against Neil with his Vampire Counts.(Chosen roll +1 str) High point was Flank charging his Blood Knights with the chosen and destroying them. Big Win

Round two was against Ian with his Tomb Kings.(Chosen roll Terror) Low point was failing a LD on a 7 to stay and kill his general with the Slaneesh unit and hero.Minor Loss

Rount three was against Ben and his Warriors of Chaos.(Chosen roll Stubborn).Low point was hitting an Exalted on Juggernaught in the flank and not being able to kill or break him. High point was 7 str 7 Flickering fire on one of his Knight units to secure the flank.Minor win

Overall 3rd place.

We used the WPS comp system with a minimum of 15 allowed to play. The system worked well I think.

Saturday the 5th of december my son and I attended a team tourny 1250 each. He brought his deamons and I brought my Mortals.

Our first battle was against High Elves/Skaven.

This battle went ok for the first couple of turns as we were able to trap the princes and GE with a unit of dogs and Fast Cav.And mitigate the incomeing magic with terrain.Things fell apart when I charged a unt of Knights and Hero into the Abomination and have it kill 4 models and run me down.Then charge the horror unit and kill 6 and make them pop,then overun intop my second unit of knights with hero. It did 3 wounds and took 2 in return.Ran and I failed to catch it. In the End it turned out to be a draw with us down by a couple hundred points.

This battle everything almost went as planned.Knights hemmed up one flank and Flesh Hounds and Marauders hemmed up the other. Then they met in the middle.Anouther Draw where we were up by a couple hundred points.

Doom Wheel.
We started out doing awesome.Baiting the DP with hounds and then flank charging with Flesh hounds. The Dp fled out of range but not off the table and the Hounds were then charged by a lion chariot,which killed them over 3 combats with out taking a wound. We charged the Plague Bearer unit in the Flank with The Khorne Herald and a unit of Knights .This is when things went down hill. He cast the spell where everything in 12 inches takes a d6 str5 hits no armour save,with IF.Killed all but 1 knight in btb with his unit.Then I front charged the unit with the other unit of Knights and Hero.Lost 2 to the Toughness tests ,Killed the Priest and put 2 wounds on the Furnace,killed 3 plague monks. The Furnace then killed 3 with its wrecking ball(rolled a 8 on art die) CR was 7 for me and 10 for them.I ran and was run down.A major loss for us.
I do believe we were lied to when we were told that this would be a fluffy tourny.Some of the other lists were

Ancaladars Vision is always the same .After the defeat of the Everchosen he searched the faces of the gods for the path they wished him to take. He has written this down in the book of the End Times so the masses would know them for true.

The Book of the End Times

Ancaladar 1: 1-17

1:1 I watched as the Deamon opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living Prophets say in a voice like thunder, "Come!"

1:2 I looked, and there before me was a Black horse! Its rider held a Sword of Fire, and he was given a Shield and Helm, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. and he bore a resembelience unto me.

1:3 When the Deamon opened the second seal, I heard the second living Prophet say, "Come!"

1:4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the world and to make men slay each other. To him was given a massive Flail for him to drown the world in rage and fury.

1:5 When the Deamon opened the third seal, I heard the third living Prophet say, "Come!" And upon a pile of bodies stood a figure with a Lashing whip in his hand

1:6 And the power of Adoration and lust shrouded him like a cloak.And power was given unto him to give and take all that men desired even unto death.

1:7 When the Deamon opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living Prophet say, "Come!"

1:8 And upon a pale rotting horse was a figure as if from the grave ,Weilding a massive scythe. Unto him was given power over a fourth of the earth to maim and kill by famine and plague.

1:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw a figure standing upon an Alter ,and under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the words ofthe Gods and the testimony they had maintained.

1:10 They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Mighty Lords, Mighty and Strong, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?"

1:11 Then each of them was given an Eight pointed Star, and they were ordered to silence, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.

1:12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. And into it Rode a figure on a Horse Black as night ,The sun turned black like sackcloth made of oger hair, the whole moon turned blood red,

1:13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth

1:14 The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

1:15 I watched as he opened the seventh seal.Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. For there came a figure sitting astride a bear of the north.

1:16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the beast and from the wrath of the true gods!

1:17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

Ancaladar 2:1-9

2:1 After this, I saw Seven sorciers standing in the four corners of the earth, holding seven of the winds of magic, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree execpt Shyish, the wind of Death.

2:2 I saw a Deamon ascend from the sunrise, having the seals of the living Gods. He cried with a loud voice to the four Deamons to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,

2:3 saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, , until we have sealed the bondservants of our Gods on their foreheads!"

2:4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, thirty six thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of the north :

2:5 Of the tribe of Hung were sealed twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Kurgan twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Norse twelve thousand,

2:6 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before he Everchosen, dressed in Red robes, with weapons in their hands.

2:7 They cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our Gods, who sits on their thrones, and to the Everchosen!"

2:8 All the Deamons were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living Prophets; and they fell on their faces before their thrones, and worshiped the Gods,

2:9 saying, "Amen! glory, strengh, honor, power, and might, be to our Gods forever and ever! Amen."

Ancaladar 3:1-12

3:1 I saw the seven warriors who stand before the Everchosen, To ride at the side of the Horsemen ,and seven trumpets were given to them.

3:2 Another Warrior came and stood over the altar, having a Massive banner. Much honor was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the Champions on the golden altar which was before the throne.

3:3 the prayers of the Champions, went up before the Gods .

3:4 The warrior took the banner, and he hung it over the fire of the altar, and thrust it into the sky. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake.

3:5 The seven warriors who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

3:6 The first sounded,and they named him Greed and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

3:7 The second warrior sounded,and they named him Wrath and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,

3:8 and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.

3:9 The third warrior sounded,and they named her Lust and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.

3:10 The name of the star is called "Wormwood." One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

3:11 The fourth warrior sounded,and they named him Gluttony and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn't shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.

3:12 I saw, and I heard an furie, flying in mid eather, saying with a loud voice, "Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three Warriors, who are yet to sound!"

Ancaladar 4:1-20

4:1 The fifth warrior sounded, and they named him Sloth and I saw a star from the sky which had fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him.

4:2 He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit.

4:3 Then out of the smoke came forth deamons on the earth, and power was given to them.

4:4 They were told that they should hurt only those people who don't have the God's seal on their foreheads.

4:5 They were given power not to kill them, but to torment them .

4:6 In those days people will seek death, and will in no way find it. They will desire to die, and death will flee from them.

4:7 The shapes of the deamons were like unto the gods prepared for war. On their heads were something like bloddy crowns, and their faces were like death .

4:8 They had horns like ram's horn's, and their teeth were like those of lions.

4:9 They had breastplates, like breastplates of iron. The sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, or of many horses rushing to war.

4:10 They have tails like those of scorpions . In their tails,stings .

4:11 They have over them as king, the warrior of the abyss. His name in the Dark tongue is "Ancaladar"

4:12 The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this.

4:13 The sixth Warrior sounded.and they called him Envy I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before the Gods,

4:14 saying to the sixth warrior who had one trumpet, "Free the four deamons who are bound at the great river Reik!"

4:15 The four deamons were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill one third of mankind.

4:16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million. I heard the number of them.

4:17 Thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those who sat on them, having breastplates ofblackest night fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; Out of their mouths proceed blood,fire, smoke, and sulfur.

4:18 By these three plagues were one third of mankind killed: by theblood, fire, the smoke, and the sulfur, which proceeded out of their mouths.

4:19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their riders

4:20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, did repent of the works of their hands, that they would worship the demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk.

5:1 I saw a mighty deamon coming down out of the sky, clothed with blood. A star was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

5:2 He had in his hand a heart. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.

5:3 He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

5:4 When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard voicies from the sky saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don't write them."

5:5 The deamon who I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky,

5:6 and swore by they who live forever and ever, who created the either and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay,

5:7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh warrior, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of the Gods are finished, as they declared to their servants, the prophets.

5:8 The voice which I heard from the either, again speaking with me, said, "Go, take the heart which is open in the hand of the deamon who stands on the sea and on the land."

5:9 I went to the deamon, telling him to give me the heart. He said to me, "Take it, and eat it up. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey."

5:10 I took the heart out of the deamon's hand, and ate it up. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.

5:11 They told me, "You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings

5:12 The seventh warrior sounded,and they named him Pride and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of the Everchosen, . he will reign forever and ever!"

Tourny Tracker three

Yesterday was the third Tourny Tracker.I came in 4th place with a record of 2 wins and a loss.
My first game was against Kyle and his Crusadeing Empire army. A second turn trap with my hounds let War and Famine Cascade down his line killing 4 out of 6 Knightly units in turn 3.Unit 5 died in turn 4 and the last unit fled off board .Tabled him in turn 4.
Second game was against Ian's Empire.Turn 2 I controlled the center and both flanks. His turn 3 The Hellblaster killed 4 of Wars knights in the center.And his cannon Got a lucky bounce and killed 2 spawn.Leaving me with 2 units of hounds in the center.On the left flank A warrior priest cast soulfire on Famine and his unit, killing 4.the hand gunners on the hill plucked off a spawn .Turn 3 war and his remaining knight charged a unit of Outriders who fled. Death came over a hill into the empire flank .Destruction charged out of his unit into the combat between Famine and Some Emperial Knights .On his turn Some flagagelents charged a Famines hounds and killed 2 Breaking the unit.The other unit of hounds was 1/4 of and inch in panic range so they of course fled.Again the hellblaster opened up and finished off war and his unit.The outriders rallied and move into Deaths flank.Famine and Destruction broke the knights and rode them down ,leaving Destruction's knights with nothing to charge and in range on the the Flagallents . Both Famine and Destruction ended up 1/2 inch from the handgunners. Turn 4 saw the hand gunners and cannon crew run off the table and , Destructions unit fail to kill any Flaggallents loseing one knight and loseing combat by 1 failing their ld check and running off the board.Death and his unit killed the swordmen on the right but failed to catch them.in his turn they rallied of course. the hellblaster Shot and Killed Famine with 20 shots .His mage killed the fleeing hounds with molten silver spell .By the end of the game Death and his Harbinger and Destruction were alive.I have never seen so many 6 and 8 from a hellblaster with no miss fire and the Out riders more than made their points back with the number of hits and wounds they put out.
Game three was against dwarves played by K.T. A very bloody battle with the end being tight.War's units of knights charged his Iron Breakers with BSB in the rear,killing 6 they needed a 3 to hold, and of course they got it .I got the victory but that roll turned it from a massacre to a solid victory.
Total battle points were 43. I have no idea what my sportsman or paint score were but the best painted award went to an army that was not based.
Not to shabby for their last outing like this. Next tourny they will have some large changes to remain legal.

Tourny tracker 3

This saturday is the third of this years Tourny Trackers. TT is a series of tournys to determine the best player in AZ.The TT is set up by Dean on the Adeptus Arizona ,and consists of 6 tournys at 6 different shops spread through out the year. It will be the last tourny for this incarnation of the Legion. Nexy month I will have to add 2 units of 15 Marauders with hand weapon and shield and 2 units of 10 Marauders with Flails.I am in the middle of converting and painting them so they should be up soon.

Game Master mini Con

I took the Legion into another tourny yesterday.This will be one of the last in it's current configuration. When the White Dwarf becomes legal I will be adding 4 units of marauders to the mix.
The first game was against a magic heavy Empire list.
Level 4 (Metal)
Level 2 (Fire)
Level 2 (Heavens)
Level 2 (Death)
3 Cannon,1Hellblaster,Two units of Knights,Big Greatsword and Flagg's,and a few units of hand gunners.
This was a pretty easy game as I led his wizard lord all over the place with the hounds. The terrain blocked his shots down the right flank with his cannons,. End result a massacre for me with full battle points 24
Game two vs Twich's wood elves.We have been trying to help twich with the army for a couple of months and it has worked.

We found out that Deamonetts do not like spawn as between the four spawn the Deamonetts did nothing all game ,and I only lost one spawn to them.We also found that Bloodletters are no match for War and his Knights, even when they charge.Massacre 24
End result was second place for the Legion and 7 captured banners.

Hardboys semi Finals

For the first game of the semi finals I played Matt Buchard's Empire.I set up heavy on my right flank and he copied me.This allowed me to put my Knights on the extreem flanks to stay away from his guns and to flank his line.The game ended in a massacre for Matt.I scored 24 battle points.
The second game was against another friend Nohea's Bretonnians.Which I helped him design.The big points of the game were 1) Famine's knights charging a unit of Knights Errants. I lost the combat by one and ran.2) My chosen and General charged a unit of Questing Knights. I killed one ,failed my leadership and got run down.3) His lord on a hippogriph charged Destruction and his knights ,I failed my terror check and ran off board.4) War and his unit of knights charged and bounced off of a unit of Knights Errants ,then got ran down.And I still came out with a draw,and 13 battle points.
The third game was against an Empire player.After the battle was over it was a minor victory in his favor.I got 9 battle points out of this one.

With my total score of 49 points I was in third place and have the chance to go to Chi-town and represent Arizona in the Finals.

Another Mega Battle

We had another Multiplayer Mega Battle Saturday.On the side of good was Chris leading 5000 points of High elves Zak and his 2250 Bretonnians,and Kyle and his Empire
On the side of Evil was The Legion of the Seven Seals at 5000 Nohea leading 2250 points of Nurgle Deamons ,and Ben and 2250 points of Vampire counts.
We made a rule that we could not coach the weakest members of our team or a random unit would take a panic check ,it worked out very well,speeding up the game I think.

First Megabattle

Zak and I played the first of a series of Megabattles I plan to play with the Legion.The Battle was 5k per side with the Legion on one side and A combined army of Empire and Bretonnians on the other.
The First couple of turns had some prelim movement from both sides.The Legion did a great job of hemming in the Bretonnians,and Empire. Although the Missle weapons were finding an ennourmous amout of knights to kill.
The End game resulted in the Legion Destroying the Right flank, and the center being hotly contested by the Grail Knights and Famine and Pestilence.The left flank belonged to the Emperial knights .The bottom corner of th e table had War embroiled in a fight with the Bretonnian Pegasus Knights .The back of the Empire Deployment zone had the fight between the Greatswordsand Archlector and Destruction.
